The work of
an artisan's hand.
Karigari is a premium Indian dining house mentored by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi — Mughlai and Awadhi cooking made the long way, and served in a room that feels handmade rather than designed.

The craft
Cooked the way it's made — slowly, and by hand
Karigari is the old word for a craftsman's skill, and it's the only word that fits this kitchen. The brand began in 2022, founded by Yogesh Sharma on a simple idea: food worth waiting for, served with real hospitality.
Nothing here is assembled from a packet. Masala is roasted and milled in the room, dough rests overnight, and the gravies are finished the way they've been finished for generations — which is exactly how the chef wants them.
- 01
Ground in the room
Whole spices are roasted and milled in the kitchen rather than bought already powdered, so the masala reaches your plate while it still smells of the pan.
- 02
Fired in clay
Breads and kebabs come out of a clay oven over live fire, cooked the way they have been cooked in the old kitchens for generations.
- 03
Handed on, not scaled up
Every kitchen follows the recipes and the standards set by the chef, so the plate in one city tastes like the plate in another.
Under the chef's hand
Mentored by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi
Karigari was founded in 2022 by Yogesh Sharma, and every kitchen works under the guidance of Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi — the Delhi chef known for Mughlai and Awadhi cooking, and for bringing the old recipes back to the table.
His standards are the reason thirteen rooms across the country taste like one kitchen. Tradition, cooked honestly, and served with the hospitality it deserves.
